Work experience
Marie has worked in a French firm of Industrial Property Attorneys as well as in the Intellectual Property department of a global leader in the automotive industry. She benefited from work experiences both at the European Trademark Office and at the French Trademark Office. She joined the “Trademarks” team of Jacobacci in September 2019.
Professional focus
Marie oversees the filing strategy of trademarks and designs in France and abroad and replies to the Offices in case of objections. She conducts availability searches and is in charge of trademark monitoring. She also drafts consultations in various fields. In case of litigation, Marie drafts cease-and-desist letters and opposition writs before the INPI and the EUIPO and conducts negotiations (coexistence agreements and trademark licensing or transfer agreements).
