Work experience
Prior to joining Jacobacci & Partners (ex Harle & Phelip) in 2001, Sophie worked in Paris in a law firm specialized in Intellectual Property matters. In the Paris office of Jacobacci, Sophie worked as a trademark attorney, representing and advising both domestic and foreign clients. In January 2005, Sophie transferred to Jacobacci’s Nantes Office.

Sophie has significant experience in managing Industrial Property matters. She is experienced in pre-filing advice, availability searches, filing, prosecution (including opposition) and maintenance of trademarks, before the French Trademark Office (INPI), the European Trademark Office (EUIPO), the International Trademark Office (WIPO) and national trademark offices with the cooperation of local attorneys. She has also a large experience in design matters, including availability searches and pre-filing assessments; filing, prosecution and maintenance of French, Community, International and foreign national designs. Sophie deals with the handling of negotiations for settlement agreements of trademark and design conflict matters.
