Work experience
At the department of Biotechnology of Technische Universiteit Delft (NL) Valeria collaborated on a project for characterizing a carboxypeptidase of Pyrococcus furiosus at the Enzymology Section.
Before joining Jacobacci & Partners in 2008, Valeria worked for 4 years in the Intellectual Property Department of a major Italian pharmaceutical company as a patent specialist.

Valeria has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting European, International and Italian patent applications relating to chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnological inventions. She has been involved in opposition procedures before the European Patent Office and has acquired substantial experience filing and prosecuting Italian and Comunity Design applications.
