After being graduated as M.D. (1988) and Master of Advanced Study “Génie Biomédical (1987) and human biology master, Xavier worked from 1989 to 1996 as the responsible of the French Data Management Department of Smithkline-Beecham pharmaceutical company. He then became graduated from CEIPI (1996-1997) in the Patent field and started in IP firm Harlé & Phelip (1997) as Patent Engineer, Harlé & Phelip later merged with Jacobacci Group. Xavier is French Patent attorney since 2017.

Xavier has an extensive practice drafting and prosecuting French, PCT and European patent applications relating to engineering subject-matter and is experienced with oppositions and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, patentability and freedom to operate studies. He also has been involved in patent litigation in France, including patent validity and infringements disputes.
